Paradesa Yangshuo Resort - More than adequate

Yangshuo used to be a nice sleepy little village until the river boat trips down the Li Jiang, originating in Guilin, became popular. Now it’s a destination town for day trippers, outdoor adventure be it water, bicycle or climbing as well as general tourism.

The Paradesa has great location right off of West Street but is quiet and away from the noise of the streets and restaurants. The rooms are simply furnished, of adequate size and with decent A/C. Bathroom was fine with a nice shower. Not five-star but perfectly adequate. The grounds are very nice and the breakfast room offers inside and outside seating with decent food, mostly Western. The staff are very helpful and most of them speak excellent English.

With so many restaurants and bars in Yangshuo, we only ate breakfast at the hotel. We stayed there for 2 nights in May and found it very peaceful.
